NEW MATCHING WALLETS!!!
June 15th, 2010So here's three new wallets that I just recently finished that were made of an embossed golden gator skin. It's not real gator but it's definately one of the better imitations I've seen. The silver/grey stingray is also embossed which in comparison to the real red stingray inlays isn't to bad either. The first wallet was made for a client of mine, the second was for me, and the third will be on Ebay later today. The one that'll be listed on Ebay features my new silver "AZTEC BONES" snaps that've had a skull added to the center. The original "AZTEC BONES" has just crossed bones....Why use imitation skins you ask? My answer. Just because it's fun. The variety is limitless and much cheaper and easier to find than the real thing. Don't get me wrong the real thing rocks beyond belief but finding a golden gator skin is like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow and just as expensive. HA!...Anyway rambling aside check em out....Cheers-R

Another WEEKENDER finished!!!!
July 13th, 2009So I've been workin on this beast for awhile now and as of Friday of last week I was finally able to get it into the mail for a very patient client of mine. Part of the making is in one of the videos I've all ready posted and unfortunately I didn't get anymore footage of it before it left. Oh well. Anyhoo, this travel bag is 19" x 11" x 8" and was made of black shrunken bull shoulder, shark, and a mix of stingray and frog inlays with a black, gold, and red lining. It has a variety of silver pieces on it that collectively weighed about a pound. All and all good times and I hope the guy's happy with it once he opens up the box.
Also here's a few pics of some completed wallets. The black one was for a client of mine, the red one was for the Motorcycle Rally, and the green one just hit Ebay today. Oh here's a link to the Ebay one:

ENJOY....
One day I'll have one of my own (when I get the time) and it'll look like this when I'm going somewhere. HA!

Project " WEEKENDER " & Happy 4th of July weekend!
July 3rd, 2009Hey All!!!
Check this out! I'm working on my latest WEEKENDER travel bag for one of our boys overseas. This one's not as large as the two that are allready on the site but it's just as grand. The art on this one's going to be over the top! It'll feature end pieces with Dragon heads and a pair of coiled Dragons for the sides. The bag is made of shark and bull shoulder with frog, stingray, and alligator inlays and all kinds of silver accents...It's definately set me back a bit on my schedule but the end product's going to be worth the effort....The videos are an in-process shot of me working the art for the side panels....Yeah I know I can't dance!?!?! ![]()
Happy 4th!!! Cheers & beers, Ron
